We are seeking an experienced, detail-oriented Senior Accountant to support the month-end close, maintain accurate financial records, and ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal controls. This role works closely with operations, supply chain, FP&A, and project teams to provide timely financial insights that support sound business decisions. What You’ll Do Lead and execute monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes Analyze financial results and investigate variances versus budget and prior periods Review journal entries and supporting documentation to ensure accuracy and proper classification Prepare and review complex account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies Maintain oversight of capital purchases and capitalization activity Review production variances and partner with operations to explain key drivers Monitor project-related financial activity, including cost accumulation and budget-to-actual analysis Serve as a point of contact for internal and external auditors Identify opportunities for process improvement, standardization, and efficiency Assist with system enhancements, testing, and implementation Provide guidance and informal mentoring to other accounting team members Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities Requirements What You’ll Bring Minimum Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field Strong analytical and problem-solving skills High attention to detail and accuracy Advanced Excel skills and comfort with financial systems Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to handle confidential information with integrity Demonstrated reliability and dependability in meeting deadlines and commitments Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment Preferred Qualifications 6+ years of accounting experience, preferably in manufacturing CPA or CMA designation Experience with long-term contract accounting and job costing Experience with multi-site manufacturing operations Why This Role Matters The Senior Accountant plays a critical role in ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and reliability of ENTEK’s financial records.
