Supervisory Responsibilities: · None Essential Duties and Responsibilities: · Assist with General Ledger functions of the accounting department · Prepare, review, and analyze financial statements, budgets, and forecasts to support strategic decision-making. · Knowledge of costing and inventory accounting. Be responsible for accurate product costing, managing inventory valuation, and performing variance analysis between standard and actual costs. Assist in Inventory counts. · Lead the month-end, quarterly, and year-end close processes, ensuring timely and accurate reporting. · Process and Record Journal Entries · Reconcile various Balance Sheet accounts, including prepaid, accruals, and fixed assets · Maintain various schedules, including CIP and maintenance expense · Prepare payroll entries monthly · Assist in annual audit · Assist with Sales Tax calculations and quarterly returns · Maintain the schedule of Capital Purchases Requirements Required Skills and Abilities: · Minimum of 3 years experience in a senior accountant or controller position within the aerospace industry · Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting · Ability to work independently and as part of a team · Advanced Excel skills · Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information · Willingness to learn · Effective communication skills, both written and verbal Educational Qualifications: • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field • Required: Compliant with the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) which requires U.S. Person status (ITAR defines “U.S. Person” as a U.S. Citizen or U.S. Permanent Resident.)
