We are looking for an experienced Senior Property Accountant to join our team in Millbury, Massachusetts. This role involves managing complex accounting functions for commercial properties and ensuring accuracy in financial reporting. • Manage accounting operations for commercial properties, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger maintenance.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports to ensure compliance with accounting standards.
• Conduct account analyses and oversee annual expense reconciliations to maintain accuracy and transparency.
• Monitor daily cash balances and ensure precision in tenant billing processes.
• Produce quarterly investor statements and contribute to financial planning and forecasting.
• Support acquisition underwriting and perform detailed financial analyses for property performance optimization.
• Analyze budget reports, financial statements, and variances to provide actionable insights.
• Collaborate with teams to ensure adherence to company policies and accounting procedures.
• Provide reports such as A/P, A/R, profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and trend analyses.
• Participate in special projects and tasks assigned by management to improve operational efficiency.
  Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field
  5+ years of property management/property accounting
  Experience with real estate software…Appfolio a plus
  Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
  Knowledge of GAAP to manage the GL, AP and AR
  Good tenure with limited movement
