We are looking for a skilled Senior Accountant to join our team in Louisville, Kentucky. This is a long-term contract position offering an excellent opportunity for an experienced accounting individual to contribute expertise in financial analysis and reporting. The ideal candidate will play a key role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our accounting processes.

• Oversee and maintain the general ledger, ensuring all accounts are accurate and up-to-date.
• Conduct detailed account analysis and reconcile balance sheets to support financial accuracy.
• Assist in the month-end close process, including preparing journal entries and reviewing financial statements.
• Perform inventory analysis and provide insights to improve operational efficiency.
• Utilize advanced Microsoft Excel skills to manage complex financial data and reporting tasks.
• Collaborate with the finance team to streamline accounting processes and enhance reporting capabilities.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations in all financial activities.
• Support audits by preparing necessary documentation and addressing inquiries.
• Work with Oracle systems to manage and analyze financial data effectively.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in accounting and finance, demonstrating attention to detail.
• Expertise in account reconciliation and balance sheet analysis.
• Proficiency in general ledger management and journal entries.
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, including formulas, pivot tables, and data analysis.
• Experience with month-end close processes and inventory analysis.
• Familiarity with Oracle systems and financial reporting tools.
• Strong analytical and organizational skills with attention to detail.
