Our Calgary-based client in the logistics industry is looking for a Contract Senior Accountant to support full-cycle accounting during a business integration. This is a hands-on role ideal for someone with strong reconciliation experience and knowledge of Axon or similar ERP systems.

Manage full-cycle accounting, including journal entries and financial reporting
Perform bank, AP, and AR reconciliations, both manually and through Axon
Maintain schedules for accrued payables and customer deposits
Assist with month-end and year-end close; support audit prep
Identify and correct missing transactions or discrepancies
Collaborate with admin/operations teams to streamline processes
Support integration of an acquired business into the parent company’s systems
Ad-hoc duties as requested
