Description:
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university with major coursework in Public Administration, Business Administration, Human Resources or related field.
- Three (3) years of increasingly responsible administrative and fiscal management experience, including one (1) year in a supervisory or lead capacity.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, including researching, editing and proofreading.
- Excellent relationship building skills that will support relationship building with employees, elected officials, board members and the public.
- Exceptional organizational skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
Responsibilities:
- Providing executive level administrative support to the Library Director and Assistant Directors, to include appointment scheduling, meeting planning and answering phone calls and emails.
- Providing support for the Library Advisory Board through consistent communication with board members, scheduling and posting board meetings and drafting agendas and minutes.
- Facilitating travel and reimbursement for the Library’s executive team.
- Responding to escalated customer concerns.
- Monitoring various projects and timelines for the Library’s executive team.
- Coordinating the Library’s response to Public Information Requests.
- Acting as the Library’s central volunteer coordinator.
- Participating in meetings; takes and distributes minutes.
