JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a highly skilled Alteryx Consultant to support the Fund Accounting team during their annual audit cycle. The ideal candidate will have strong experience designing, developing, and maintaining complex Alteryx workflows, with a focus on financial data, audit procedures, and workflow automation. This role involves migrating Alteryx solutions to Microsoft tools such as Power BI and PowerApps.

REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

• Expertise in Alteryx Designer, with experience in data preparation, ETL, and analytical workflows.
• Alteryx Designer Core or Advanced Certification.
• Experience in migrating Alteryx workflows to Power BI and/or PowerApps.
• Strong understanding of fund accounting principles and the audit lifecycle.
• Background in financial services, especially in asset management, private equity, or fund accounting.
• Proficiency in SQL and working with diverse data sources.
• Excellent problem-solving, documentation, and organizational skills.
• Effective communication and collaboration with accounting and audit teams.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, or related field.

PREFERRED SKILLS

• Experience in the banking or finance industry.
• Project management experience or the ability to lead small initiatives.
• Team lead or cross-functional team collaboration experience.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Design, develop, and maintain complex Alteryx workflows to support audit processes within the Fund Accounting group.
• Execute and validate key financial calculations and logic within audit-related Alteryx workflows.
• Migrate existing Alteryx workflows to Microsoft Power BI/PowerApps.
• Work closely with the Fund Accounting team to understand business processes, data structures, and audit requirements.
• Troubleshoot and resolve workflow errors to ensure data accuracy and compliance with audit timelines.
• Document data lineage, processing steps, business logic, and validation procedures.
• Prepare, clean, and organize data from multiple sources (databases, spreadsheets, text files).
• Report workflow status, issues, and findings to team leads and stakeholders.
• Identify areas for process improvement and automation.
