Job Description: Job Summary: We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Junior DevOps Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have foundational knowledge of cloud platforms (preferably AWS), DevOps tools, and CI/CD pipelines, with a strong desire to learn and grow in a fast-paced cloud infrastructure environment. This role will support senior DevOps engineers in automating deployments, maintaining infrastructure, and assisting with monitoring and configuration tasks. Key Responsibilities: Assist in setting up and maintaining cloud infrastructure (primarily on AWS). Support CI/CD pipeline implementation and maintenance using Jenkins or similar tools. Work with containerization tools such as Docker, and support Kubernetes configurations. Help monitor system performance using tools like CloudWatch. Collaborate with development and operations teams to ensure smooth software delivery processes. Assist in scripting automation tasks using Python, Bash, json , maven and yaml scripts. Participate in troubleshooting and resolving infrastructure and deployment-related issues. Follow security and compliance best practices in all DevOps activities. Document processes and contribute to internal knowledge sharing. Must-Have Skills: Overall Experience ~4 to 8 years Minimum 2-3 years of Relevant Experience in Containerization and Kubernetes. Must have experience in creating docker containers with various technologies. Must have experience in CI/CD pipeline with Jenkins. Strong knowledge of DevOps tools: Git, Jenkins, Docker. Installing & Upgrade DevOps tools Hands-on experience in container Docker. Configuration of SSL certificates Good understanding master/slave configuration of Jenkins Hands-on experience with scripting tools like - Python, Bash, json , maven and yaml. Hand on experience in Unix Administration Good knowledge of Kubernetes cluster upgrades. Basic understanding of AWS services such as EC2, S3, IAM, VPC, CloudWatch. Strong willingness to learn new tools and technologies. Good-to-Have Skills: Exposure to Terraform or Ansible. Familiarity with container orchestration. Knowledge of reverse proxies (e.g., NGINX). Awareness of DevSecOps and security best practices. Education and Experience: • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. • 3 to 8 years of relevant experience in a DevOps or system administration role (internships count). • Certifications like AWS Cloud Practitioner or Certified DevOps Engineer (optional but preferred). Soft Skills: Good communication and collaboration skills. Analytical thinking and problem-solving ability. Eagerness to learn and grow in the DevOps domain. Team player with a proactive attitude.
