Description
As a Senior Analyst of Asset Management, you will conduct operational and financial analysis for key assets within the company's hotel portfolio, directly supporting the VP of Asset Management on related initiatives to maximize the value of larger hotel assets. You will also serve as the primary point of contact for assigned business units, including Gaylord Springs, General Jackson, Inn at Opryland, and AC National Harbor. Partnering with the Asset Management leadership team, you will review financial statements, engage hotel operators to understand performance drivers, and recommend capital improvements and strategy adjustments. This position requires frequent interaction with senior leadership, including the VP, SVP, and C-suite executives, demanding excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Position based in Nashville, TN with periodic travel required to managed assets. Reports to Vice President of Asset Management with Ryman Hospitality Properties.   * Review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, conduct variance and key metrics analysis, and interact with hotel and business unit operators to understand performance drivers and address challenges. * Participate in and lead monthly operating reviews with property leadership to understand past performance and forecasted metrics. * Serve as primary point of contact and asset manager for assigned assets, completing all required asset management functions and communicating frequently with leadership on results and key decision points. * Analyze performance data with the VP, recommend revenue growth and cost reduction strategies, and ensure accountability from both on-property teams and brand leadership. * Support annual operational and capital budget planning processes for assigned assets, ensuring alignment between property-level objectives and corporate financial goals. * Assist in the creation and review of financial models for potential ROI projects and other capital investment opportunities for hotel assets. * Collaborate with Design & Construction project managers to ensure capital projects remain on time and on budget, escalating key decision points to leadership, including VP, SVP, and COO. * Assist in the creation of presentations that support monthly operating reviews with the properties, Board of Directors meetings, and ad-hoc meetings that support key initiatives at the properties. * Support asset management leadership, including Director FP&A, in communicating with properties to ensure thorough explanation and analysis of KPIs and ad-hoc reports.  * Communicate financial results and reporting to senior leadership and Investor Relations. * Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications Education * Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Accounting, Real Estate or related field required Experience * 4+ years' experience in financial analysis, asset management, and strategic planning required * Hospitality/hotel analytical experience preferred; real estate finance, private equity, or management consulting also considered Knowledge, Skills and Abilities * Effective interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills * Innovative strategic thinking capabilities to diagnose and resolve complex problems * Strong quantitative and technical skills with advanced data analysis capabilities * Must be able to present information and communicate effectively with senior management and property leaders in a variety of settings * Proficient in Microsoft Office with expert-level Excel and PowerPoint skills Physical Requirements * Speak and hear for in-person and virtual communications and use of both near and distance vision for computer work, document review, and office/property navigation. * Frequently sit with some walking and standing for office/property navigation, including walking extended distances across large properties. * Frequently lift/carry up to 5 lbs. (files, supplies, equipment). * Continually use gross motor skills with frequent use of bi-manual dexterity and fine motor skills for computer use. Working Conditions * In-office position based in a corporate environment with individual workspaces and shared common areas which support focused work while encouraging regular interaction among colleagues * Moderate background noise typical of a collaborative office setting * Some travel required for property site visits and stakeholder meetings * Standard business hours with extended availability during major projects or negotiations.
