The candidate will bring a strong understanding of the Credit Card industry ecosystem, business models, data analysis and emerging technologies/new entrants. She/He will demonstrate natural curiosity for the industry, supported by prior experience in banking, analytics, or strategic planning. The candidate should be a top performer with a results-driven mindset and outstanding communication skills in both Spanish and English, verbal and written. This role requires someone who can thrive under strict deadlines while maintaining an exceptional focus on detail and quality. The candidate should quickly ramp up on the Amex business model, KPIs, financials, and information sources. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are essential, as well as the ability to communicate effectively with leadership stakeholders to enable fast and practical solutions. Experience in data analytics and financial modeling is highly valuable. Key responsibilities include providing continuous analysis and insights to identify risks and opportunities, recommending corrective and preventive actions, and delivering clear, actionable recommendations. The candidate will also coordinate the production of both ad-hoc and standard analyses to support executive decision-making. Qualifications · Highly developed statistical, analytical and problem-solving skills. · Strong Python, R, SAS or SQL programing skills · Ability to convert raw data into metrics and workforce management strategy with strong mathematical, analytical, communication and organization skills. · Knowledge of processes, models, forecasting and resource planning tools for high-level and detailed scenarios / analysis. · Ability to manage multiple projects, work in a fast-paced environment and meet agreed timelines. · Ability to communicate effectively in both verbal and written formats with individuals or groups. · Ability to establish relationships, influence decisions, and to inspire matrixed, cross-functional teams to deliver shared objectives. · Advanced PC/Windows-based software experience required with proficiency in Excel, Power Point, Tableau. · Highly detailed oriented · Strong relationship management skills, people oriented. · Effective driving collaboration, influencing, and working with cross-functional partners at all levels. · Statistical analysis · Storytelling skills & Strong presentation skills · Takes accountability, quickly prioritizes. Day to day responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Analytics & DB · Analyze marketing and customer data to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities. · Conduct performance analysis across campaigns, channels, and customer segments. · Analize dashboards and regular reports to monitor KPIs and business metrics. · Database Management · Design, build, and maintain databases to support marketing analytics and customer profiling. · Ensure data integrity, accuracy, and accessibility for cross-functional teams. Customer Analysis · Segment customers based on behavior, demographics, and engagement. · Provide insights to support targeting strategies and personalized marketing efforts. Presentation Development · Create clear and visually engaging PowerPoint presentations to communicate findings and recommendations. · Support leadership and cross-functional teams with data-driven storytelling.
