We are seeking a highly skilled and innovative Senior Analyst, IT Services engineer to join our team in Atlanta. This role requires a hands-on technical leader with extensive experience in cloud infrastructure, DevOps practices, and automation. As a Principal Cloud DevOps engineer, you will be responsible for architecting, implementing, and optimizing cloud platforms and DevOps processes to ensure scalability, security, and operational excellence.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Experience: 10-12 years of experience in Cloud DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), or related roles.
  • Cloud Platforms: Deep expertise with AWS, Azure, or GCP.
  • CI/CD Pipelines: Hands-on experience with tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, or Azure DevOps.
  • Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Proficiency with Terraform, CloudFormation, or Pulumi.
  • Scripting & Automation: Strong programming/scripting skills in Python, Shell, or Bash.
  • Containerization & Orchestration: Extensive experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Monitoring Tools: Familiarity with tools like Prometheus, Grafana, CloudWatch, or New Relic.
  • Version Control & Collaboration: Expertise in Git and experience with tools like Bitbucket or GitHub.
  • Security Best Practices: Knowledge of cloud security frameworks and best practices.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills to resolve complex technical challenges.

Preferred Skills

  • Cloud Certifications: AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Azure DevOps Engineer, or GCP Cloud Engineer certifications.
  • Soft Skills: Excellent leadership, mentorship, and collaboration skills.

BrandSafway offers a competitive benefits package that includes medical, dental, vision, life and disability insurance along with a generous 401k plan. The salary range for this position is $115,000-130,000 annually. This range represents the anticipated low and high end of the salary for this position.

Responsibilities
  • Cloud Architecture & Strategy: Design and implement scalable, secure, and cost-effective cloud solutions (AWS, Azure, or GCP) to support business objectives.
  • DevOps Leadership: Drive DevOps best practices, establish frameworks, and lead the design of CI/CD pipelines for seamless code integration and deployment.
  • Automation & Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Develop and manage infrastructure using tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar technologies.
  • Monitoring & Incident Response: Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting tools (like Prometheus, Grafana, CloudWatch) to ensure proactive incident management.
  • Performance Optimization: Identify performance bottlenecks, implement improvements, and ensure system reliability and efficiency.
  • Security & Compliance: Drive cloud security practices, ensuring compliance with data privacy and security standards (like ISO 27001, SOC2, or GDPR).
  • Mentorship & Technical Leadership: Mentor junior engineers, review code, and provide technical guidance on DevOps best practices and cloud solutions.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with product, development, and operations teams to align DevOps strategies with business needs.
  • Cloud Cost Management: Optimize cloud costs by tracking usage, identifying inefficiencies, and implementing cost-saving measures.
