JOB SUMMARY:

We are looking for an intellectual and ambitious Senior Developer to join our IT Marketing and Guest Services Applications Team. Reporting to the Sr. Manager of Development, this individual will help support critical tools supporting our Marketing Operations and Creative Services. The role requires a highly resourceful individual who manages through complexity easily, demonstrates advanced technical skills and high levels of EQ, and displays strong business acumen.
Our platforms are used to support our internal marketing teams in their GTM initiatives across email, push, SMS, and paid media. As a Senior Developer, this role will be responsible for learning and supporting our in-house applications and the day-to-day management of contract resources across multiple capital projects. Applicants will need a blend of technical, managerial, and interpersonal skills.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in technical or business discipline or equivalent experience.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • 2+ years in a lead role or equivalent experience.
  • Ability to inspire and lead a team, manage conflicts, and foster a collaborative environment.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills to articulate development processes and results.
  • 3+ years’ experience working with Agile & Waterfall Development Methodologies
  • Meticulous attention to detail to ensure high-quality standards.
  • Must be proactive and self-driven, demonstrate initiative and be a logical thinker.
  • Ability to develop clear documentation and business partner management across audiences with multiple levels of technical skills
  • Familiarity with RESTful APIs and API development
  • 3+ years JavaScript
  • Experience with handlebar syntax
  • Experience with JSON for data exchange and integration across platforms
  • Understanding of cloud-based infrastructures such as AWS and Azure
  • Experience working with micro service technologies
  • Experience with CSS and HTML; WYSIWYG content editors
Responsibilities

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Lead the onboarding, and day-to-day management of ongoing sprints of owned applications ensuring deadlines are hit across each platform.
  • Continuously expand our dev function across our growing number of tools while refining our existing testing methods and tools.
  • Leverage technical expertise to provide operation support to existing platforms and tools.
  • Serve as cross application support for front end and back-end third-party systems.
  • Make recommendations regarding platform needs and solutions to maintain optimal team effectiveness.
  • Collaborate cross functionally with developers, quality assurance analysts, business analysts, project managers, and senior leadership.
