QUALIFICATIONS YOU MUST HAVE:

A University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 2 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree.
DoD procurement experience and knowledge of Federal Acquisition
Regulations (FAR/DFARS) – ability to place Purchase Orders over TINA dollar threshold

QUALIFICATIONS WE PREFER:

SAP/PRISM based environment experience
Experienced with Excel for tracking and analysis purposes

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

  • Preparation and issuance of RFIs, RFPs. Letter Subcontracts, POs
  • Place purchase orders of various complexity in accordance with all regulatory (FAR/DFAR) and corporate compliance requirements for various complex subcontract (Cost Type, Incentive Type, Firm Fixed, etc.).
  • Perform price and cost analysis techniques in support of proposals and placements.
  • Develop and implement procurement strategies to ensure the cost-effective acquisition of goods and services.
  • Negotiate contracts and manage supplier relationships to secure the best terms and conditions.
  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify potential suppliers and assess their capabilities.
  • Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders to understand their requirements and ensure procurement activities align with business goals.
  • Monitor and manage supplier performance, ensuring compliance with contractual terms and quality standards.
  • Maintain POs to ensure accurate and timely supplier delivery information.
  • Maintain accurate records of procurement activities, contracts, and supplier performance.
  • Identify and mitigate risks related to procurement and supply chain activities.
  • Ensure adherence to RTX Corporation’s procurement policies and procedures.
  • Continuously evaluate and improve procurement processes to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Supports post award work for the team to ensure on time delivery
