QUALIFICATIONS YOU MUST HAVE

  • Typically requires a Bachelor’s and 2 years prior relevant experience, or an Advance Degree in a related field.
  • Experience within Supply Chain Production Control and/or Production scheduling.

QUALIFICATIONS WE PREFER

  • Experience with special program access or other enterprise planning systems
  • Experience with Government and Depot type processes
  • Experience with MS Excel to include formula application and pivot tables. Experience working with MS Office 365 applications.
  • Experience reading and evaluating lists of parts required for production work and working with a production planning system

WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • Evaluate and coordinate training needs to better utilize metrics and system accuracy. Improve process flows regarding the assemblies that are in progress, material availability, and potential production problems. Solves any potential production problems to ensure that personnel, equipment, materials, and services are provided as needed.
  • Support analysis of multiple and moderate complexity, Bills of Material in an MRP system; releasing work orders and tracking material though the assembly process
  • Provides support to material supply demand and prepares necessary work orders based on shop load and inventory requirements.
  • Coordinate interdepartmental activities with quality assurance, manufacturing, purchasing, and engineering. Propose solutions to mitigate any work stoppage the factory teams may experience due to any slips in material orders.
  • Interface with internal customers. Leads projects and or teams to accomplish continuous improvement.
  • Controls on hand material through its life cycle; issue to work orders or projects, returns to suppliers, ships to customers, etc.
  • This position is an onsite role.
