Knowledge or prior experience in Securities lending, settlements and collateral management would be an added advantage. Overall understanding of the risk associated with Lending domain in specific and Asset Servicing practice in general Must have an eye for detail and should be able to carry out Quality checks and report the same Operational knowledge on systems such as GSL, CREST, Euro clear, TLM would be preferable Good verbal & written communication skills is a must Must possess and demonstrate qualities of a team player Should be able to multitask and handle pressure situations Should understand the concept of Driving Performance Ability to set priorities and manage multiple deadlines with minimum supervision, escalating issues where necessary MAJOR DUTIES: Develops and maintains specific subject expertise and provide inputs as required Liaise with internal teams to resolve issues and minimise exposure. This would also include Securities Lending Trade desk. Maintains good working relationship with borrowers and collateral Tri-party agents. Act as a process expert in International and Domestic markets where trade settlement & Collateral teams operate. Maintains risk management and control activities for the assigned group Building effective working relationship with off-shore partners and other relevant partner areas Provides hands on training for new staff and cross training for experienced staff Ensures response/resolution is completed within the established deadlines/SLDs and appropriate priority levels are applied to key client deliverables Provide input towards continuous improvement of procedures to maintain highest possible efficiency and risk mitigation Assists client, partners and staff with complex problem resolution.
