Job Title: Sr Analyst Strategy and Corporate Development (hybrid)

Job Overview:
This strategically important role will work closely with the Chief Financial Officer and other members of management (Chairman, CEO, EVP Sales, EVP Partner Solutions) to provide support in financial analysis, modeling / forecasting, ad-hoc projects and board presentations / requests. Active participant in developing and maintaining M&A target list along with supporting buy-side due diligence efforts. Project management support across the finance/risk discipline aimed at providing management with deep financial insight and bandwidth to effectively manage the financial and related functions of the Company.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • B.S. in Finance, Accounting or equivalent, from a leading undergraduate institution and a top academic performer
  • 2-3+ years financial analysis from an investment bank or management consulting position
  • Self-starter, ability to initiate and lead projects/analysis with minimal guidance
  • Energetic; successful; exemplary performance reviews at current employer
  • Strong Excel/Modeling skills; Familiarity and comfort in utilizing large data sets
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and has had experience with financial statement analysis
  • Strong Writing skills
  • Strong presentation skills – written and oral. Above average knowledge of power point
  • Experience in either or both of the insurance/financial services a plus

Responsibilities
  • Assist CFO in developing and maintaining long-term growth plan.
  • Provide financial modeling and analytical support both within the finance / accounting org as well as for different departments
  • Develop profitability analysis and reporting for executive team for new product / program opportunities and advise on pricing strategy
  • Owner of consolidated financial model
  • Assist in the annual budget process, strategic planning and periodic forecasting
  • Prepare monthly and quarterly board reporting and ad-hoc board requests
  • Provide insight and support for the strategic initiatives of the Company that will lead to increased profitability and long-term value creation
  • Data mining from various data sources to develop strategic initiatives for top line growth
  • Investor Relations – PE sponsors(H&F, Stone Point Capital), bankers, lenders, asset managers (GS)
  • M&A target evaluation and due diligence
  • Support buy-side diligence – reviewing data room, modeling, analyzing synergies, supporting post acquisition integration
  • Debt covenant analysis and monitoring
  • Support various sales and marketing financial analysis requests
  • Competitive Research
  • International expansion analysis
  • Occasional high level administrative support (i.e. coordinate management meetings; agenda support; follow up)
