We are looking for a Sr Analyst, Transaction Management Office (TMO) in our Corporate Development Office (CDO), to join our team in Calgary Alberta.
In this Sr Analyst role, you will provide transaction support for Corporate and Business Unit (BU) commercial development activities, including mergers, acquisitions and divestitures.

What You Will Do:

  • Providing transaction support for Close, Day 1 and integration / separation activities, including assisting functional teams with work plan development and progress tracking as well as coordinating cross-functional collaboration and issues management through a disciplined and structured approach
  • Managing TMO and project SharePoint/ Microsoft Teams site content and permission levels to support records management, secure accessibility and project management
  • Monitoring execution of related Transition Services Agreements following close of transactions and reporting on status, risks and issues
  • Updating TMO playbooks, tools and processes and contributing in Transaction Management Office process improvement initiatives
  • Supporting the deal team with budget variance analysis, comparing actuals and forecast
  • Working with Finance and verifying that final accounting treatment is performed for project transaction costs and normalization entries are made as applicable
  • Supporting the CDO department budget planning and analysis process, including accounting and accruing for CDO project-related costs and verifying that budget forecasts are in line with approved amounts
  • Effectively representing the CDO in interactions with Corporate and BU teams across the organization as well as periodic coordination with external partners and consultants
  • Supporting broader CDO team in financial analysis of various acquisition, divestiture, and development initiatives
  • Supporting broader CDO initiatives designed to advance Enbridge’s growth strategy and investment programs

Who You Are:

  • University degree in Business, Finance or equivalent from a nationally recognized undergraduate program
  • 2-4 years of relevant experience
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
  • Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint and SharePoint
  • Ability to balance multiple priorities with the flexibility to accommodate different work styles
