The Sr Applications Analyst is a high-performing contributor who facilitates and supports application functional specifications and projects by analyzing business requirements and project objectives. This role involves utilizing strong knowledge of industry practices and standards to resolve routine issues and develop innovative solutions to enhance work and address business challenges. The Sr Applications Analyst will work on projects across various custom and package applications.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION:

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent education and/or experience.
• 4-6 years’ relevant experience or equivalent education and/or experience.
• At least 3 years of experience in software business analysis or consulting.

• Conduct workshops that help stakeholders understand the functionality of system software and how the software can be adopted to meet their needs.
• Meet with customers and partners to outline expectations.
• Conduct blueprint sessions to define stakeholder alignment. Gather and evaluate project requirements.
• Make process and business decisions based on understanding of company and customer as well as industry practices, standards, and trends.
• Communicate with technical and non-technical users: business stakeholders, developers, end users, and Project Managers.
• Manage follow-ups and action items from workshop sessions with Consultants, SDMs, and/or Account Managers.
• Serve as a functional advisor and problem solver to stakeholders to assist them in optimizing their use of the product suite to define, build and deploy applications.
• Perform high quality analysis reliably and consistently.
• Find ways to assess and apply innovative ideas to enhance business results.
• Discuss best practices for system projects across multiple methodologies: waterfall, agile, SCRUM, etc.
• Keep up to date on current and road mapped features, functionality, and terminology for the applications managed.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to evaluate technical, system, and process improvements.
• Perform other duties as needed.
