EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

· Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or related technical field
· 5-8 years of software development experience (Mid-level) OR 8+ years (Senior-level)
· Experience with federal government projects and compliance requirements preferred
· Familiarity with FDA EPLC or similar government lifecycle processes preferred

TECHNICAL SKILLS

· Programming Languages: Proficiency in multiple languages (Java, C#, Python, JavaScript, etc.)
· Web Development: Strong experience with web application development frameworks
· Database Management: Experience with relational databases, SQL, and data management
· API Development: Experience building and consuming REST APIs and web services
· Integration Platforms: Experience with API gateways, MuleSoft, or similar integration tools
· Version Control: Proficiency with Git and collaborative development workflows
· Testing: Experience with automated testing frameworks and methodologies

AGILE & PROCESS SKILLS

· Strong experience with Agile/Scrum development methodologies
· Experience working with Jira or similar project management tools
· Understanding of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines
· Knowledge of software development lifecycle (SDLC) best practice

SPECIALIZED KNOWLEDGE

· Experience with workflow management systems and approval processes
· Knowledge of data visualization and dashboard development
· Understanding of document management and storage systems
· Familiarity with user access management and role-based security
· Experience with system migrations (on-premises to cloud, hybrid approaches)

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

· Experience with FDA or other regulatory agency systems
· Knowledge of research management or scientific data systems
· Experience with ServiceNow or similar ticketing systems
· Familiarity with federal security requirements and compliance standards
· Experience with data curation and transformation processes
· Knowledge of Power Platform applications

SECURITY REQUIREMENTS

· Ability to obtain and maintain required federal security clearance
· Adherence to FDA IT security policies and procedures
· Experience with secure coding practices and data protection
