JOB SUMMARY:

The Authority Liaison Engineer is responsible for managing the approval processes for building and infrastructure projects. This role involves reviewing and preparing NOCs (No Objection Certificates) and submission applications, coordinating with various departments, and ensuring that all necessary approvals are obtained promptly. The engineer will maintain comprehensive records and databases related to these approvals and will report directly to the Authority Liaison Manager.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Architecture is required
  • Sharjah Experience is a MUST.
  • Native Arabic speaker with prior experience in permits coordination, regulatory compliance, or construction administration within a consultancy in Dubai & Sharjah.
  • Strong understanding of construction permits and regulatory requirements in Dubai & AD.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact professionally with diverse stakeholders.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
Responsibilities
  • Review, prepare, and submit NOC applications for designs, ensuring that all submissions meet the required standards and guidelines.
  • Coordinate with other departments to ensure that all relevant NOCs are aligned and approved.
  • Prepare detailed reports on the status of approvals, procedures, and requirements related to the issuance of approvals, NOCs, and building permits.
  • Ensure that all stakeholders are informed of the progress and any potential issues.
  • Follow up on and coordinate the progress of applications and designs, both in the main office and online, ensuring smooth and timely processing.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive databases for NOCs, approvals, installations, and their statuses.
  • Update the databases promptly to reflect the current status of all approvals and related documents.
  • Report regularly to the Authority Liaison Manager on the progress of NOC submissions and approvals, highlighting any challenges or delays.
