Reporting to the Sr. Manager, IT, Enterprise Applications (Corporate Services & Modern Workplace), you will play a pivotal role in shaping and supporting Nutrien’s Service Management platform. In this role, you will work closely with the extended ServiceNow team, Service Management and Service Desk teams, architects, technical developers, and key business stakeholders to deliver scalable, secure, and sustainable solutions. You will be responsible for developing and maintaining comprehensive architecture roadmaps and creating and implementing solution designs for our critical service management platforms, ensuring these solutions drive significant business value. You will collaborate both independently and as part of a team with other architects, external partners, vendors, and stakeholders across Nutrien to support a strong and resilient Service Management environment.

Responsibilities
  • Lead the application and integration architecture strategy for service management solutions, including ServiceNow and associated integrations.
  • Develop and maintain reference architectures, standards, best practices, and solution blueprints to support robust service management.
  • Guide the integration of ServiceNow with other enterprise platforms and services, ensuring alignment with business objectives and enterprise architecture standards.
  • Facilitate architecture and design reviews, enforcing governance processes to ensure technical solutions meet Nutrien’s standards and business needs, while maintaining best in class, out-of-the-box functionality.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into scalable, end-to-end technical architectures, implementing integrations using REST, SOAP, APIs, and other modern methods.
  • Deliver hands-on architectural leadership throughout the project lifecycle, supporting configuration, customization, and platform integration during delivery phases.
  • Mentor and advise delivery teams, architects, and technical leads, enhancing organizational skills in modern application and integration architectures.
  • Direct the end-to-end development and implementation of ServiceNow solutions, ensuring data model optimization and adherence to coding standards and out of the box functionality.
  • Effectively communicate with clients and provide leadership to distributed development teams, ensuring successful project outcomes and high stakeholder satisfaction.
  • Provide strategic guidance on technical best practices and emerging industry trends, driving continuous evolution and optimization of ServiceNow capabilities.
