Description

LRE (Leeward Renewable Energy) is a high-growth renewable energy company forging a sustainable future through integrity, innovation, and positive impact. We own and operate 30 large wind, solar, and energy storage projects across the United States, totaling over 3 gigawatts (GW) of generating capacity.
LRE has an ambitious goal of 10GW of operating assets by 2028 and are developing and contracting an increasing pipeline of new projects every year. Summary:
The Asset Management team manages and optimizes LRE’s operational fleet of utility-scale wind, solar, and battery plants. Among other responsibilities, the Asset Management team ensures that each operating plant achieves strong financial performance and fulfills its obligations under contracts and applicable laws.

Responsibilities:

  • Support onboarding of new plants from the construction phase to the operational phase.
  • Communicate with internal and external stakeholders about all aspects of plant performance and operations.
  • Summarize obligations under power purchase agreements, operations & maintenance agreements, and other contracts.
  • Compile and review monthly investor reports for project-level investors.
  • Keep asset management compliance database accurate, to ensure compliance with deadlines.
  • Support performance of the annual operating plan and adherence to budgets.
  • Work closely with plant managers to generate forecasts and track profit & loss performance.
  • Collaborate with employees in other LRE groups, including Operations, Technical Services, Accounting, Regulatory, and Legal.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 4 years of energy industry experience or related experience or academic accomplishments with focus on energy industry or related experience
  • Excellent problem-solving skills are required.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize work as necessary.
  • Clear oral and written communication skills are required.
  • Ability to work closely with team members of diverse backgrounds.
  • Experience with Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Power BI

Physical Demands:

  • Position will require sitting for long periods of time.
  • Occasionally lifting twenty pounds or more.
  • Travel 10-25%.
