Provides support for larger software lifecycle projects. Assures software development project timelines and expectations are met and adheres to procedures and processes and industry standards. Provides input for software documentation updates as required for development projects and changes. Works closely with the global software development teams and software support team to facilitate updates to software deliverables throughout the development life cycle. Key Responsibilities: Assure clear communication of and adherence to software project deliverables, expectations, and project timelines. Responsible for software deliverables and software release schedules. Work with the software leaders for various design centers, as defined by the projects, to ensure proper approval authority is provided for intended projects. Author deliverables, and support senior software project leaders for mid-to-large sized projects. Assure compliance with software release procedures for post-Market changes to on-market products. Collaborate closely with the software development teams, Technical Support, Field Service, Manufacturing, Clinical and other operational organizations to support necessary software changes initiated by reported anomalies, changes in use cases, material or hardware changes that impact software, cybersecurity, regulatory updates, and other. Interact with outside vendors and be able to identify and hold outside vendors accountable for their deliverables. Key Requirements/Minimum Qualifications: BS of Computer Science or other related discipline with 3 years’ experience; or 5 years of relevant experience. FDA/ISO regulations for software development, prefer including IEC 62304. Experience with software development, Software Development Lifecycle Management (SDLC), and a solid understanding of the development process. Experience with Dev Ops tools such as Confluence, Jenkins, AWS, Azure DevOps (ADO), Jira, Git, GitHub, TFS, and Microsoft Visual Studio. Ability to work independently, proactively identify issues, recommend and implement solutions, and deliver quality results on schedule while managing multiple tasks and internal customers. Good interpersonal & communication skills to build positive departmental and inter-departmental relationships in a virtual, remote, and asynchronous environment. Medical device experience is preferred Knowledge of networking and cybersecurity concepts are a plus. Prefer project management experience.
