JOB DESCRIPTION

U. S. Bank has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Associate within U.S. Bank’s Institutional Client Group (ICG), which services our largest clients. This role would support Relationship Managers (RM)s by assisting with day-to-day management of Corporate Banking customers within our insurance sector.
This role is responsible for analyzing financial data as well as preparing comprehensive written analyses, analyzing portfolio credit quality, assisting the Relationship Manager in presenting credit requests to Credit Approval, identifying products and services that meet customer needs, and making appropriate referrals.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

• Typically, a bachelor’s degree, or equivalent work experience
• Typically, four to six years of relevant banking or sales experience

PREFERRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE

• Strong quantitative, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• Well-developed relationship building and sales skills
• Effective presentation, written and verbal communication skills
• Credit skills/experience (i.e., financial accounting, commercial lending, industry awareness, loan structuring, etc.) preferred
• FINRA Licenses 63, 79 (pre or post hire)

THE ROLE OFFERS A HYBRID/FLEXIBLE SCHEDULE, WHICH MEANS THERE’S AN IN-OFFICE EXPECTATION OF THREE (3) OR MORE DAYS PER WEEK.
