Career Category Information Systems Job Description Role Description: In this vital role you will partner with the Global Supply Chain Business Team to advance and automate day-to-day Master data to accelerate strategy and growth. You will collaborate and engage with various partners and help in delivering standard methodology solutions based on business and system requirements. ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES Work directly with the business users and Suppliers in problem resolution identifying root causes and reporting back. Support resolution for both Amgen internal issues and supplier issues. Assist and collaborate with SAP, Amgen’s suppliers, and Amgen business users for master data management in support of the Ariba SCC platform. This will include lower environments for development and testing as well as production for master data corrections. Drive continuous improvement in solution performance, reliability, compliance, and efficiency Participate in solution workshops with business partners, process owners, and Amgen Suppliers Assist Amgen Supplier and Supplier Integrator in data mapping/ Participate in requirements gathering and design workshops Provide go-live support Post-Go Live transaction monitoring and issue resolution Basic Qualifications and Experience 5 to 9 years of Life Science, Biotechnology, Pharmacology, Information Systems experience with Bachelors or above degree Functional Skills Must-Have Skills: 2-3 years of experience in an Architect or Business Analyst role especially with integrated systems. Understanding of SAP ECC, S/4HANA data structures for Vendor and Material master Data migration including ETL (Extract, Transform, and Load) Strong skills in Excel and experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum/SAFe). Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional product and engineering teams. Good-to-Have Skills: Familiarity with cloud-based data solutions. Ability to work effectively across matrixed organizations and lead collaboration between data and AI teams. Passion for technology and customer success, particularly in driving innovative AI and data solutions. Experience in services or consulting related to data and AI products is a plus, and familiarity with biotech/pharma is beneficial. Working knowledge of integrations suite using API’s or 3rd party integration software like BTP, PI, Talend, MuleSoft, Data Lake and Data Fabrics etc Experience using and adoption of Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) Understanding of FDA regulations governing computer system validation and operation Familiarity with security requirements and best practices for data at rest and in transit Professional Certifications: SAP certification in SAP Ariba SCC Any relevant supply chain specific certifications like APICS (CSCP, CPIM) ITIL, PMP, or Six Sigma certifications are advantageous Soft Skills: Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills. Ability to work effectively with global, virtual teams High degree of initiative and self-motivation. Ability to manage multiple priorities successfully. Team-oriented, with a focus on achieving team goals Strong presentation and public speaking skills. .
