The Sr. Associate, Trade Marketing will deliver Annual Trade Marketing plan reporting to the Trade Marketing Head Iberia, managing marketing plans to the KA´s and Sales Team to meet business objectives and achieve best ROI and provide a through interface between marketing and sales in designated categories.

In this role, a typical day will include:

  • Develop the brand and channel planning process to drive share, revenue and operating income goals for assigned customers (s) & channel(s), taking advantage of synergies to increase market share and being responsible to manage & optimize the allocated budget.
  • Development and implementation of the Trade Marketing strategy (concepts, measures, policies) to improve recommendation, availability and visibility of our products within existing categories, building and improving trade category management, space-management, merchandising concepts leading the implementation of the campaigns and aligned with the marketing team.
  • Allow a more structured approach to promotional activity planning and improved presentation at the POS and knowledge of needs of our top customers helping to develop to them personalized marketing plans, having a customer satisfaction as main priority and supporting the sales objectives and budget assigned.
  • Ensure the effectiveness of the activities, plans and materials developed by the department and detect new needs.
  • Strategic planning of the architecture and tactics for online platforms ( Web, Social Media, Digital Mkt campaigns).
  • Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer insights to tailor trade marketing plans.
  • Develop & optimize trade promo calendars by customer / channel and being the connection with marketing team to ensure implementation of national campaigns in the country.
  • Plan or support industry trade shows, conferences, or optical fairs.
