Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a Senior Audio Visual/VTC Engineer to join a Federal Subcontracting company located in Arlington, VA through on-site work. The Senior Audio Visual/VTC Engineer will assist in managing audio-visual systems and Video Teleconferencing (VTC) infrastructure for both large and small-scale projects for a highly visible and high-profile Department of Defense (DoD) customer.
Responsibilities of the Senior Audio Visual/VTC Engineer include:
- Provide guidance on best practices, innovative AV solutions, and process improvements.
- Create detailed recommendations, flow diagrams, and Bills of Materials (BOMs) for audio-visual upgrades and technology refreshes.
- Understand IP networking concepts including subnets, routing, DHCP, and DNS; capable of configuring and troubleshooting basic network connectivity issues related to audio-visual systems.
- Conduct comprehensive site surveys to assess customer requirements for audio-visual and Video Teleconferencing (VTC) systems.

Qualifications for the Senior Audio Visual/VTC Engineer include:
- 5+ years of relevant experience in VTC environment.
- Bachelors degree OR in lieu of
o High school diploma plus 4 years of relevant experience.
o Associate’s degree plus 2 years of relevant experience.
- Must possess an IAT level II certification
- Must have an active secret clearance
- Proficient in a wide range of audio-visual and VTC systems (Ex: Crestron, Extron, Cisco)
Compensation for the Senior Audio Visual/VTC Engineer include:
- Salary Range: $115,000- $130,000
