PenFed is hiring a (Hybrid) Sr. Audit Manager, Consumer Banking, Mortgage, and Compliance at our Tysons, Virginia location. The primary purpose of this job is to lead the consumer and mortgage lending and compliance-related audit portfolio for PenFed’s Internal Audit department. The role is a leadership position responsible for the development and execution of a risk-based audit plan that addresses the significant risks relevant to the assigned departments. The role is responsible for developing/ maintaining strong relationships with assigned business partners to obtain an understanding of the risks facing the credit union and stay aware of new developments impacting the business. Additionally, the role will be responsible for leading, directing, evaluating, and developing audit professionals to ensure audit activities are conducted to high standards of accuracy, rigor, and credibility and according to regulations and industry standards.
