Description

We are looking for a skilled Sr. Auditor to join our client’s team on a contract basis. This role involves managing comprehensive 401K audits for clients, from planning to final reporting. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in financial, operational, and compliance auditing, ensuring thorough assessments and adherence to industry standards.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct end-to-end audits of 401K plans, including risk assessment, internal control evaluation, and financial statement preparation.
  • Develop and execute detailed audit plans to ensure compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) requirements and other regulatory standards.
  • Analyze and document audit findings, providing actionable recommendations for process improvements.
  • Perform operational and financial audits to assess organizational efficiency and accuracy.
  • Utilize CCH ProSystem Fx and Knowledge Coach tools to streamline audit processes and ensure accurate reporting.
  • Prepare comprehensive audit reports summarizing key findings and presenting them to stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with team members and clients to address audit issues and implement corrective actions.
  • Conduct SOC 1 reviews, ensuring that controls over financial reporting meet required standards.
  • Stay updated on industry best practices and regulatory changes to maintain audit effectiveness.
  • Proven experience in performing financial, operational, and compliance audits.
  • Strong knowledge of Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) regulations and audit processes.
  • Proficiency in using CCH ProSystem Fx and Knowledge Coach for audit management.
  • Demonstrated ability to conduct risk assessments and evaluate internal controls.
  • Experience with SOC 1 audits and reporting requirements.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills for preparing reports and presenting findings to stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple audit projects effectively.
