A. Job Overview We are looking for a Senior QA/QC Tester with extensive hands-on experience in web application testing, UI testing, API testing, and automated testing using relevant tools. The role involves ensuring the delivery of highquality software products through meticulous testing and collaboration with cross-functional teams. B. Key Responsibilities 1. Test Planning and Strategy: o Develop detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts for manual and automated testing. o Define testing strategies based on project requirements and timelines. 2. Web Application Testing: o Conduct functional, regression, and performance testing for web applications. o Ensure cross-browser and cross-device compatibility. 3. UI Testing: o Verify UI/UX design adherence, responsiveness, and overall user experience. o Identify and document visual or functional inconsistencies. 4. API Testing: o Perform thorough API testing, including validation of endpoints, data exchanges, and response times. o Use tools like Postman, SoapUI, or equivalent for API validation and testing. 5. Automated Testing: o Develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts using tools like Selenium, Cypress, or similar frameworks. o Identify automation opportunities and enhance testing efficiency. 6. Defect Management: o Log, track, and manage defects in bug tracking tools like JIRA, Azure DevOps, or Bugzilla. o Collaborate with development teams to ensure timely resolution of issues. 7. Quality Assurance Practices: o Adhere to established QA methodologies, standards, and best practices. o Perform root cause analysis to identify recurring issues and recommend improvements. 8. Documentation and Reporting: o Prepare detailed test reports, including results, coverage, and metrics. o Maintain comprehensive documentation for test cases, scripts, and workflows. 9. Collaboration: o Work closely with developers, business analysts, and product managers to clarify requirements and expectations Required Qualifications ▪ Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. ▪ 3+ years of professional experience in QA/QC testing, with a focus on web applications. ▪ Relevant certifications (e.g., ISTQB, Certified Agile Tester) are a plus. ▪ Proven experience in manual and automated testing for web applications. ▪ Proficiency in UI testing and ensuring a seamless user experience. ▪ Hands-on experience with API testing tools like Postman or SoapUI. ▪ Expertise in test automation tools such as Selenium, Cypress, or equivalent. ▪ Strong understanding of testing methodologies, including functional, performance, and regression testing. ▪ Familiarity with bug tracking and test management tools like JIRA, Azure DevOps, or TestRail. ▪ Basic knowledge of SQL for database testing. Preferred Qualifications ▪ Experience with load testing tools such as JMeter or LoadRunner. ▪ Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and integration of automated tests. ▪ Familiarity with Agile development and Scrum practices.
