Detailed Job Description
Experience - 5-7+ years of experience in test automation.
- Core Technical Stack:
– Strong proficiency and practical experience using TypeScript for test automation.
– Significant hand-on experience developing tests and contributing to frameworks using Playwright.
– Solid understanding and application of Behavior-Driven Development (BDD) principles.
– Proven experience writing and maintaining tests using Cucumber and Gherkin.
- Automation Framework Contribution - Demonstrable experience contributing significantly to the development and enhancement of test automation frameworks.
- Testing Expertise - Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools and processes. Proven ability to test complex APIs (REST, GraphQL) and UIs.
Experience with various testing types (integration, E2E, regression, performance is a plus).
- Software Development Fundamentals - Strong Programming skills, understanding of object-oriented principles, data structures. Proficient with Git or other version control systems.
- CI/CD Experience -Experience working with and integrating tests into CI/CD pipelines.
- Collaboration and Communication - Excellent communications skills. Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment and explain complex technical concepts.
- Problem-Solving - Strong analytical, debugging and troubleshooting skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working within a SRE or DevOps culture.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS).
- Experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Experience contributing to shared libraries or internal tooling.
- Familiarity with performance and load testing (eg. K6, JMeter).
