REQUIREMENTS

Job Summary
The Senior AWS Developer will oversee the design, development, and delivery of Application Development IT initiatives, including ongoing enhancements and third-level support. This role involves contributing to the regular release of custom cloud applications in AWS/Azure and supporting enterprise projects that impact various lines of business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Custom .NET Business Systems: Develop systems used by internal business partners and external clients across different geographic locations.
  • Project Management: Manage projects using C#, AWS (required), Azure (nice to have), Lambda, SNS queues, PostgreSQL, SQL Server, and S3 buckets.
  • Technical Expertise: Demonstrate strong knowledge in Terraform, Azure DevOps, and pipeline creation.
  • Documentation and Testing: Create requirements and design documents, update user interfaces, perform unit testing, and support QA and system integration.
  • Collaboration: Work with application architects, QA analysts, and business analysts to ensure technical requirements are met.
  • Automation Scripts: Write and apply unit/regression test automation scripts to all application code, ensuring successful coverage.
  • Source Control: Use Team Foundation Server for source control.
  • Consultation: Consult with business analysts to gather information about program objectives, functions, features, and requirements.
  • Technical Specifications: Partner directly with business analysts to interpret use cases and design technical specifications.
  • Stored Procedures: Create and maintain stored procedures.
  • Governance and Compliance: Adhere to key departmental operating procedures around governance, project management, software lifecycle management, change management, and application security/controls.
  • Additional Duties: Perform other duties as assigned.
