SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:

  • Bachelor’s degree in data science, management information systems or related OR 2+ years relevant work experience
  • MES/factory level data experience preferred
  • Proficiency in SQL and DAX programming languages
  • 2+ years creating, publishing and managing data-driven reports and dashboards
  • Proficiency across Microsoft Applications (Azure, Azure DevOps, Power BI, etc)
  • Experience leveraging other data development tools such as Visual Studio, DAX Studio and Tabular Editor
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills to effectively gather reporting requirement
  • Detail oriented to ensure data integrity and accuracy
  • Self-starter with a growth mindset and a passion for data
  • Ability to handle ambiguity and work in a fast paced, entrepreneurial environment

Responsibilities

The Senior BI Developer will support fairlife’s ambition of building a best-in-class Data and Decision Intelligence (DDI) ecosystem. This role will lead the development and delivery of a data driven culture and ecosystem for our manufacturing facility in Coopersville, MI, leveraging machine/MES, ERP and other level data sources. This role will work closely with factory leadership to drive the adoption and scaling of our newly launched Manufacturing Data Hub. This includes owning the creation and maintenance of key factory level visualizations & reports.

responsibilities:

  • Work cross-functionally across the factory to help drive engagement and adoption of data-driven tools at our Coopersville, MI factory
  • Interface with key stakeholders to lead development of data and reporting strategy for Coopersville, MI factory
  • Lead data acquisition initiatives for new machine data points/tags and other key updates to newly launched data hubs
  • Design, develop and deliver key reports for all levels of the factory
  • Author complex DAX calculations to monitor necessary business metrics while ensuring optimal performance
  • On-going Master Data Management
  • Service and update multiple workspaces and apps, maintaining consistent reporting and visual standards
  • Work closely with broader factory intelligence team to integrate and scale Fabric data hubs across our entire manufacturing footprint
  • Provide training and support to business partners where needed
  • Engage with stakeholders and identify solutions leveraging data and technology
