Position Summary: Quaint Oak is strategically growing in size and complexity and looking for an experienced team member to play a vital role in expanding the company’s BSA foundation. This position has the primary responsibility to Support the BSA Officer in the development, implementation and maintenance of the Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) Program for the Bank and affiliates.

EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience 3 to 5 years of banking BSA/AML/OFAC and/or Fintech experience.
  • Experience in complex financial crime investigations.
  • Computer experience with Microsoft Word, Excel and Adobe.

Responsibilities
  • Assist the BSA Officer with monitoring the Bank’s BSA program and ensuring adherence to BSA, Anti Money Laundering (AML), Customer Identification Program (CIP), Customer Due Diligence (CDD) and Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) policies.
  • Monitor and review account activity in identified alerts & cases, and with sufficient research, makes an assessment/recommendation on the proper course of action to management.
  • Manage complex cases and review involving multiple relationship accounts and complex ownership structures.
  • Complete department-specific projects and assignments as assigned by senior management.
  • Assist in guidance and training of front-line banking staff regarding BSA matters.
  • Review and verify that all CTRs are completed correctly and prepared for final approval and submission.
  • Review and disposition daily OFAC suspects.
  • Write Suspicious Activity Report (SAR) narrative and complete SAR form.
