Sr. Business Analysis Managers located in Overland Park, KS will conduct fast-paced analysis on various initiatives and trends in customer acquisition, revenue, and churn that drive the trajectory of the business.

SKILL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Experience (1) Financial Performance Analysis & Strategic Pricing
  • Experience (2) Campaign Analysis & Competitive Research
  • Experience (3) Machine Learning & Forecast Modeling (Python, SQL, and one of the following: GCP or Azure ML Studio, or a tool similar to GCP or Azure ML Studio)
  • Experience (4) Mathematical Modeling & Optimization (Python, SQL, and GCP (or a tool similar to GCP))
  • Experience (5) Data Visualization & Reporting
  • Experience (6) Relational Database Systems (Teradata, DB2, Oracle, or a similar tool) & Cloud Computing

EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:

  • PRIMARY REQUIREMENTS: Master’s degree in Engineering, Operations Research, Computer Science, Statistics, Economics, Finance, or related, and three years of relevant work experience.
  • ALTERNATIVE REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Operations Research, Computer Science, Statistics, Economics, Finance, or related, and five years of relevant work experience.
    Telecommuting is permitted, but applicant must work from the worksite location at least 3-4 days per week. No additional national or international travel is anticipated.

Responsibilities
  • influence marketing strategies and provide strong decision support to business owners across the org;
  • provide analysis of key initiatives launched by T-Mobile, including Un-carrier moves and promotions;
  • provide strong decision support and robust recommendations based on data-driven analysis, executing high-profile analysis, and delivering data narratives across business groups;
  • measure or assist in measuring the value of our acquisition and upgrade offers, evolving customer base, and initiatives to develop revenue and reduce customer churn;
  • transform large datasets using SQL in cloud platforms and leverage Python in Azure Databricks to analyze customer trends and conduct statistical analysis;
  • conduct in-depth performance analysis of postpaid voice acquisition and upgrade offers, using SQL and Python to evaluate the effectiveness and profitability of promotional campaigns;
  • analyze competitive landscape using industry data and tools to identify optimal markets for investment by tracking key metrics such as demographics, market share, distribution, churn, and network performance;
  • collaborate with cross-functional teams in Marketing, Finance, Pricing Strategy, and Operations to validate analytical findings and align on strategic narratives for C-level presentations; and
  • develop executive-level presentations that effectively communicated complex analytical findings to VP and Director-level audiences for decision-making.
