Description

We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst III to support requirement gathering and business process improvement within a national accounts division. This role will serve as the liaison between technical teams and business stakeholders, ensuring that system enhancements and development efforts align with business initiatives.
The ideal candidate is highly skilled at facilitating workshops, creating process flow diagrams, documenting requirements, and translating business needs into technical solutions.

This is a long-term contract opportunity with an hourly pay rate in the range of $60-65/hour. Key Responsibilities

  • Lead requirement-gathering sessions with business stakeholders.
  • Analyze existing systems and processes to identify inefficiencies and opportunities for improvement.
  • Create and maintain clear documentation, including business requirements documents (BRDs), user stories, and swimlane diagrams.
  • Collaborate with architects and developers to translate business needs into technical solutions.
  • Ensure traceability of requirements through design, development, and testing.
  • Provide support during testing phases, including reviewing test scenarios, validating defects, and assisting with UAT.
  • Prepare reports, demos, and presentations for stakeholders.
  • Assist with backlog grooming, roadmap development, and business case/ROI creation.
  • Maintain project documentation repositories and support project managers with planning and estimation.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, or related field (or 5–10 years of relevant experience in lieu of degree).
  • 8–10 years of experience as a Business Analyst, Project Coordinator, or Project Manager.
  • Proficiency in:
  • Business process modeling & swimlane diagramming
  • Agile, BABOK, and Waterfall methodologies
  • Requirements elicitation for systems and applications
  • Jira and Confluence
  • Experience with Salesforce.
  • Strong documentation skills, with ability to provide writing samples (BRD, user story, swimlane diagram).
  • Basic SQL knowledge, data mapping, and entity relationship diagrams.
  • CCBA or CBAP certification preferred.

Additional Details

  • Schedule: Hybrid – onsite in Windsor, CT, Mon–Thu (local candidates only).
  • Duration: 6 months with potential to extend.
  • Travel: None required.
