SUMMARY

We’re looking for a strategic powerhouse to join our Distribution Strategy team as a Senior Analyst. This role focuses on shaping the future of energy distribution-developing innovative approaches to grid modernization, reliability, cost efficiency, and customer value. You’ll work alongside engineering, planning, operations, and executive leadership to craft solutions that ensure our distribution system evolves to meet tomorrow’s needs.

EXPERIENCE

  • For a Level 3 (Senior), a minimum of five years of related experience is required (if no degree, nine years of relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and related experience totaling nine years).

EDUCATION

A bachelor’s degree related to the assignment from an accredited institution is preferred.

Responsibilities
  • Lead efforts to define and refine long-term distribution strategies aligned with organizational goals.
  • Analyze emerging technologies, market trends, and regulatory changes impacting distribution system performance.
  • Support planning around DER integration, electrification impacts, and grid resiliency initiatives.
  • Build decision frameworks and business cases for major investments in distribution infrastructure.
  • Develop and maintain models that assess performance, reliability, and cost-benefit tradeoffs across distribution assets.
  • Translate complex data into actionable insights for senior stakeholders, driving strategic priorities.
  • Collaborate with data science and operations teams to measure the effectiveness of implemented strategies.
  • Partner with Engineering, Asset Management, and Field Operations to assess feasibility and implement strategic solutions.
  • Facilitate strategy workshops and stakeholder engagement sessions across technical and business units.
  • Provide recommendations for process improvements and operational adjustments to support strategic objectives.
  • Manage strategic pilot programs and initiatives from concept through evaluation.
  • Monitor milestones, KPIs, and ROI associated with distribution-related innovation projects.
  • Maintain visibility into industry best practices, and apply lessons learned to optimize planning and execution.
