Description
Analyze and Problem-Solve: Apply best-in-class analytics to perform impact assessments, return on investment modeling, and sample weighting to break down intricate, loosely defined problems with small-sample data into clear, data-driven insights. Collaboration and Communication: Translate commercial business needs into technical solutions. Evolve complex, multi-faceted findings into clear business recommendations that can be explained to both technical and non-technical partners. Project Ownership: You will be the analytics point of contact for our WPN team. In that role, you'll lead mid-size analysis projects with vision and confidence, while contributing to larger projects. You'll handle timelines, dependencies, and delivery with independence. Reporting and Visualization: Envision and build dashboards and automated reports using Tableau or Power BI to monitor performance and uncover trends. Data Design and Engineering Support: Develop sophisticated SQL queries (window functions, CTEs, optimized joins); create reliable, well-documented, maintainable scripts that handle imperfect data; and collaborate with data engineers to evolve our commercial data into a modern data stack. Process and Systems Improvement: Spot opportunities to simplify workflows, improve data quality, and strengthen how teams use analytics. Mentorship and Team Growth: Share technical and analytical knowledge across the team. Explore new tools and methods that can improve how we work. Education and Experience: Master's degree in Analytics, Data Science, Economics, or a related field with 5+ years of experience as a business analyst or data analyst in consumer, digital or technology; or Bachelor's degree with 8+ years proven track record as a business or data analyst in consumer, digital, or technology fields. Technical Skills: Advanced SQL skills, including query optimization and design for scalability. Proficient in translating complicated analytics to self-serve tools through building dashboards in Tableau and/or Power BI. Familiarity with ETL processes, APIs, and connecting systems. Comfortable working in Agile or Waterfall environments. Analytical Ability: Ability to translate business questions/problems into data requirements. Comfortable driving impact analyses from concept to execution. Strong problem-solving skills with attention to data accuracy and efficiency. Understands how to balance technical constraints with business priorities. Able to weigh short-term solutions against long-term goals. Communication and Leadership: Clear, concise communicator across teams and levels. Pilots smaller multi-functional projects and influences decisions with evidence-based recommendations. Proactively identifies and addresses risks and roadblocks.
