Description
To confer with Business Application Users in identifying and gathering users’ requirements and develop logical and physical specifications. Create detailed functional requirements and development artefacts such as workflow diagrams, business rules, data mapping spreadsheets, and/or wire-frames. Develop UML diagrams such as Use Case, Activity and Sequence Diagrams. Develop Business Requirement Document (BRS) & Software Requirement Specifications (SRS). Get the requirements reviewed and approved by the business users. Act as a liaison between business users and development team. Coordinate with developers and QA team to explain system requirements. Change management, end user training, UAT for smooth business process transition. Ensure continuous IT services delivery to support day to day business operations. Ensure continuous business process improvement through capturing and analyzing business data. Prepare, monitor and maintain schedule of assigned projects. Keep him/herself aware about industry trends and technological advancements to propose innovative solutions. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field. 3-4 years of experience in business analysis or a related field. Experience in software development lifecycle (SDLC) methodologies and techniques. Experience in working with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to elicit and document requirements. Proficiency in business analysis tools and techniques such as process mapping, data modeling, and use case development. Familiarity with project management tools and techniques. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work with stakeholders and cross-functional teams. Ability to create detailed functional specifications and use cases. Experience in conducting user acceptance testing (UAT) and facilitating user training sessions. Familiarity with agile methodologies and tools. Knowledge of database design and SQL. Knowledge of software integrations and APIs. Ability to develop business cases and roadmaps for the adoption of emerging technologies.
