POSITION SPECIFIC DESCRIPTION

The Internal Audit department is looking for an experienced and data-driven Senior Business Analyst who will be instrumental in collecting, analyzing, and interpreting large datasets to provide actionable insights for key business decisions. In this role, you will be responsible for leveraging and transforming data from both internal and external sources to assess business processes, anticipate requirements, and deliver results coherently to support audits, investigations, and consultations. The ideal candidate will possess advanced analytics skills, proficiency in programming languages, and familiarity with modern tools, contributing to the enhancement of internal audit functions’ efficiency and effectiveness. This position offers an exciting opportunity to shape data-driven insights and support decision-making processes within a highly collaborative environment.

Job Specific Responsibilities:

  • Analyze large datasets to extract insights and support decision-making processes for internal audit activities.
  • Develop, design, and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI.
  • Work with business stakeholders to understand data requirements, ensuring that analytics deliverables meet business needs.
  • Develop and implement data models, scripts, and automation processes using Python, R, and other relevant programming languages.
  • Utilize SQL to extract, manipulate, and analyze data from multiple databases.
  • Leverage knowledge of Machine Learning (ML), Natural Language Processing (NLP), Large Language Models (LLMs), and Robotic Process Automation (RPA) to drive data automation and insights.
  • Translate complex data findings into clear visualizations and stories that engage and inform decision-makers.
  • Conduct exploratory and hypothesis-driven analyses to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies in data.
  • Provide actionable recommendations based on data insights, supporting internal audit processes.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including audit and business leadership, to ensure data-driven decision-making.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Experience in business analysis, preferably in a similar role
  • Strong proficiency in relational databases (MySQL, Microsoft SQL Server) and NoSQL databases, with expertise in SQL
  • Proficiency in Python and R , statistical modeling, and machine learning
  • Experience with business intelligence tools, particularly Power BI,
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including complex formulas, pivot tables, and data visualization techniques
  • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills, with the ability to propose innovative solutions

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • High School Grad / GED
  • Bachelor’s or Equivalent Experience
  • Experience: 4+ years
