This position bridges the gap between business stakeholders, product owners, and technical teams, ensuring that developed solutions align with mission goals, adhere to SDLC standards, and support continuous delivery. The Sr. Business Analyst will work in close alignment to the Product Manager, serving as the primary owner of business and functional requirements, oversee Jira backlog quality and compliance, and co-facilitate agile ceremonies to promote collaboration and transparency across the delivery team. We’re looking for a proactive, high-energy team player who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment, someone who takes ownership, seeks to add value, and embodies the Pluribus principles of curiosity, integrity, and excellence would be a great match for this opening. What You Will Do: Requirements Gathering & Analysis Lead elicitation sessions with product owners, subject matter experts, and end users to capture business needs and system requirements. Analyze and decompose high-level business needs into well-defined epics, features, and user stories that are both useful and SDLC-compliant. Develop and maintain requirements documentation (business process models, use cases, data requirements, acceptance criteria, traceability matrices). Validate requirements with stakeholders and ensure alignment with modernization objectives, system design, and federal compliance standards. Jira & Confluence Management Manage and refine the Jira backlog to ensure user stories are complete, testable, and prioritized in collaboration with product owners. Create and maintain detailed story descriptions, acceptance criteria, and traceability to ensure full coverage across the SDLC. Support sprint planning, backlog grooming, and release readiness by ensuring Jira data integrity and documentation consistency. Create and maintain dashboards, reports, and metrics in Jira to support sprint tracking and leadership visibility. Organize and maintain documentation in Confluence, including sprint summaries, reports, and artifacts. Agile & Product Delivery Support Partner with the Product Manager to support Agile ceremonies (stand-ups, backlog refinement, sprint planning, sprint demo/review, retrospectives). Serve as a backup facilitator for Agile ceremonies when needed. Support PI planning and contribute to SAFe Agile practices. Maintain high standards of traceability, ensuring all user stories, tickets, and deliverables are properly linked and documented. Collaborate closely with technical and product teams to refine stories and remove blockers. Documentation & Reporting Contribute to monthly status reports highlighting progress, risks, metrics, and key accomplishments. Create and maintain written deliverables such as user guides, release notes, and project documentation. Ensure all deliverables maintain accuracy, clarity, and consistency. Stakeholder & Customer Engagement Build strong working relationships with users, stakeholders, and leadership across teams. Communicate progress, challenges, and outcomes with clarity and professionalism. Serve as a liaison between business and technical teams, ensuring mutual understanding of requirements and constraints. Support the Product Manager in shaping the product roadmap and ensuring alignment with modernization goals. What You Will Bring: Ability to obtain and maintain a High-Risk Public Trust designation (previous/current clearance or designation preferred). Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business, or related field. 3–5 years of experience as a Business Analyst on software development projects, preferably in an agile or DevOps environment. Demonstrated experience with requirements elicitation, analysis, and documentation in complex, multi-system environments. Proficiency in Jira and Confluence, including backlog management, workflow configuration, and SDLC traceability. Experience supporting agile ceremonies and collaborating with cross-functional teams (Product Owners, Developers, Testers, Architects). Strong analytical, communication, and facilitation skills - able to translate between business and technical audiences. Positive attitude, go-getter energy, and a genuine desire to contribute value and drive outcomes. Demonstrated commitment to Pluribus Digital’s principles of collaboration, accountability, and excellence. Bonus points: Experience supporting Agile delivery in a federal contracting environment. Familiarity with system integration, APIs, and data modernization initiatives. Knowledge of software development, DevSecOps and CI/CD principles. Certifications such as CBAP, PMI-PBA, Certified Scrum Master (CSM), or SAFe Agilist/Practitioner. Experience working withing the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) and supporting Program Increment (PI) Planning. Why Pluribus May Be a Fit for You: We are purpose driven.
