As a Business Consultant, your focus will be to drive revenue growth, develop sales strategies, build customer relationships, and provide strategic insights to senior management. You will report directly to our Sales Manager and the role is based in our Auckland office. Key Responsibilities: Achieve Sales Orders Annual Operating Plan (AOP) quota targets by closing sales while adhering to pricing and sales policies Formulate robust long-term strategies and plans to develop the Vertical and identify emerging trends Building pipeline of good networks and serving holders with new opportunities calling at all levels including senior level of target customer organization Continuously identify new sales opportunities and focus on providing consultative support building value proposition Dissemination of key messages, initiatives and information pertaining to the value proposition to targeted customers, opportunities, and solutions Accurate forecast of orders and growth opportunities Key Experience & Capabilities: Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, Engineering or other business-related field Insert experience/capability 5 years of business-to-business selling experience Technical knowledge in BMS is highly regarded, Security will be considered Proven Customer engagement at senior levels, prospecting for opportunities Understands customers’ decision-making processes, buyers, and influences Additional 5 years’ experience required in lieu of university degree Experience working in a multi-national, highly matrixed organization Strong ability to develop and sustain customer relationships Clearly articulate value and demonstrate how solutions map to a customer’s needs Compelling presentation and communication skills Industry and market knowledge Ability to travel around North Island or nationally when required Who We Are The Future Is What We Make It at Honeywell.
