SUMMARY: The Manager, Proposals, Pricing & Customer Performance serves as a key internal resource, providing strategic pricing expertise, supporting proposal development, and ensuring effective collaboration between the sales, engineering, and operations teams. This role is responsible for developing competitive pricing models, managing customer contracts, and maintaining key performance metrics to drive profitability and enhance customer relationships. The position acts as a liaison between external sales personnel and facility operations to facilitate efficient communication and optimize customer performance.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Prepare, coordinate, and track customer proposals, pricing requests, and capability inquiries.
  • Serve as the liaison between global sales teams and internal departments to facilitate timely and accurate responses to customer inquiries.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain data-driven pricing models, ensuring they reflect market trends, cost factors, and customer demands.
  • Monitor and adjust pricing strategies to optimize revenue while maintaining competitive market positioning.
  • Oversee customer contract management, pricing catalogs, and capability data for internal and external platforms (ILS, One Aero, etc.).
  • Compile, analyze, and report on customer performance metrics to support data-driven decision-making.
  • Collaborate with finance, operations, and supply chain to ensure alignment of pricing strategies with business objectives.
  • Provide guidance and insights to internal stakeholders on the financial impacts of pricing strategies.
  • Support continuous improvement efforts related to pricing, proposals, and customer performance analysis.
  • Other duties as assigned.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, or a related field, or 3 years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree.
  • 7 years of experience in pricing analysis, proposal management, or financial modeling.
  • Proven ability to develop and implement pricing strategies that balance profitability and market competitiveness.
  • Strong analytical skills with experience using financial or pricing analysis tools.
  • Effective decision-making abilities with a focus on supporting the company’s financial interests.

PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS:

  • Experience in the aerospace or aviation MRO industry.
  • Familiarity with pricing and proposal software (e.g., PROS, CPQ systems) and CRM tools.
  • Knowledge of contract management, cost estimation, and customer performance analytics.
  • Experience collaborating across departments, including sales, finance, and operations.
