Responsibilities:

  • Embrace, champion, and sell all of Landor’s capabilities, including Brand Performance, Strategy, Expression, Experience, and Cultural Transformation.
  • Work closely with subject matter experts (Corporate and Consumer Strategy, Brand Performance, Culture & Engagement, Digital and Creative) as well as the Global Business Development and Marketing Community.
  • Identify, propose, and deliver all agreed-upon RFI, RFP, Proposals, and Pitch Decks on time, on scope, and on budget — making it easy for clients to buy.
  • Serve as the central point of communication on multiple pitches and RFPs, driving the pitch process from the initial qualification call.
  • Partner with resource management and colleagues to coordinate internal and external resources for pitches and RFPs.
  • Co-lead and oversee client contract and financial negotiations in partnership with Finance, including fee and timing negotiations. Address and resolve pricing, payment, and scope creep challenges.
  • Qualify all inbound leads and opportunities, mapping them to clear criteria. Conduct research and background analyses to develop a thorough understanding of prospective client needs, business challenges, and culture, and determine whether to proceed with the lead.
  • Proactively brief teams on new opportunities using BAV, cross-network relationships, and desk research to inform Landor teams of client challenges, considerations, and ambitions.
  • Act as a competitor champion, understanding agency competitors, offerings, clients, and cases to inform Landor’s pitch and win strategies.
  • Contribute to the creation of monthly, quarterly, and/or annual plans, including performance, strategy, and revenue targets and metrics.
  • Understand the proactive outbound outreach strategy and marketing programs for events and speaking engagements to leverage thought leadership and facilitate client engagement as part of the inbound pitch process.
  • Utilize Marcomms strategically and stay connected with the proactive outbound prospects pipeline, anticipating when proactive leads will develop into a brief and pitch opportunity.
