  • Card Issuing: A fully featured platform for Visa, Mastercard, or private level issuing of credit and prepaid cards. Pismo’s platform allows its customers to control everything from client acquisition to account management.
  • Digital Banking & Wallets: Pismo provides a transaction banking core for modern digital banking experiences, from easy client acquisition to enriched cash-in / cash-out operations and internal transfers / P2P transactions.
  • Seller Management: From the onboarding to the daily management of each seller, Pismo’s platform runs a workflow process with pertinent settlement and commercial parameters for each transaction, such as MDR, clearing rules, settlement requirements, and days to pay.

SUMMARY

This position will be a key member of the Oceania team and take ownership to maintain and grow existing customers while delivering new customers to our platform. You will have holistic knowledge of the banking and fintech landscape with deep experience across core banking and payments processing inclusive of international and local scheme networks, regulatory environments and competitors.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Needs to have a minimum of 5 years Sales Engineering and Customer Relationship Management.
  • Solid understanding of Card Issuing and at least one of the following domains: core banking and payments.
  • Ability to influence and collaborate with cross-functional teams and external partners, across multiple time zones.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex ideas in a clear and concise manner.
  • Comfortable working in a scale-up environment, being able to think strategically, have a can-do attitude and self-motivate.
  • Ability to drill-down to details and manage difficult conversations, when necessary.
  • Minimum knowledge of how modern clouds native systems work.
  • Fluent in written and spoken English.

Responsibilities:

  • Identify and pursue potential customers or clients through various sales channels, Pismo industry partners, personal networks, industry events and referrals.
  • Develop and nurture strong relationships with existing and prospective clients to understand their needs, preferences, and pain points.
  • Deliver compelling product and service presentations to showcase their value and address client questions head-on.
  • Negotiate terms, pricing, and contracts with clients to secure deals while maintaining profitability for the company.
  • Convert leads into sales by resolving client concerns and guiding them through the purchasing process.
  • Provide ongoing support to existing clients while ensuring their satisfaction and fostering long-term relationships.
  • Stay current on industry trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to identify new opportunities for improvement.
  • Set and track sales goals and implement strategies for driving growth.
  • Maintain sales records and provide quarterly sales reports.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams in marketing, product development, and customer service to align efforts, leverage resources, and maximize sales opportunities.
