We are seeking a Senior Business Intelligence (BI) Developer with expertise in AWS QuickSight, SQL, and data analysis to drive strategic decision-making across the organization. This role requires a strong background in UI/UX design, stakeholder collaboration, and Agile methodologies to develop optimized BI solutions that enhance data accessibility and usability.

Under the supervision of the Director of Enterprise Data Services, you will:

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and document BI and reporting requirements, translating them into interactive dashboards that drive informed decision-making.
• Lead end-to-end development of dashboards and reports, including UI/UX design, SQL/Python query development, data validation, security enforcement, and deployment.
• Develop visually engaging and intuitive AWS QuickSight dashboards with a focus on usability, responsiveness, and seamless navigation.
• Establish and enforce best practices for BI report layouts, interactivity, and user experience.
• Conduct usability testing and analyze user feedback to refine dashboard functionality and design.
• Monitor BI system performance, optimize queries, and ensure efficiency across dashboards and data models.
• Implement best practices for version control, documentation, and compliance in BI development.
• Construct and refine complex SQL/Python queries for scalable data analysis and reusable data products.
• Ensure data accuracy, validation, and security to maintain trust in BI solutions.
• Utilize Agile methodologies and Jira for project tracking, task management, and iterative improvements.
• Provide clear and timely updates to stakeholders on dashboard status, data refreshes, and system changes.
• Proactively address stakeholder needs, offering actionable insights and building strong relationships.
• Stay ahead of BI trends and emerging technologies to continuously innovate and improve data products.
