Responsibilities

ABOUT THIS ROLE

As TD Securities continues to grow and evolve, the E-trading Fixed Income business is currently expanding the team to drive business growth and promote a stable and secure environment for TDS.
We are seeking a motivated individual to join our team as a Senior Business Analyst, the candidate will report to the Manager, Technology Partner Management. The incumbent will be primarily responsible for 4 main pillars: Technology Risk management, Application onboarding, Audit management and Documentation management. In addition to the above, this role will also focus heavily on the areas of process improvement, vendor management facilitation & general technology asset owner ad-hoc requests.
The position requires a self-starter with exceptional relationship management skills, proven organizational talents, a passion for process improvement and eagerness to learn/understand business/technology trading applications.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Here is some of what you may be asked to perform:

  • Technology risk management: Responsible for creating and actively managing remediation plans, risk exceptions, etc. for all technology audit findings for multiple trading applications by working directly with Business information security officers and Technology Asset owners
  • Audit: Manage all audit requests as priority by acting as primary liaison between audit partners, TCO (Technology Control office) and the front-line business/technology team to respond to RFIs (request for information), technology procedures and related documents/information
  • Application onboarding: Manage the technology application onboarding process encompassing all phases of the cycle including the application request, registration, and transition to support.
  • Manage the application book of record for all technology applications ensuring all information is up to date with associated lifecycle changes/management and act a primary point of contact for all requests
  • Vendor management facilitator: Work with vendor management/procurement for all E-trading fixed income engagements ranging from new vendor services, license purchases, onboarding trading venues, professional services, contract amendments, etc.
  • Business Process documentation: Responsible for managing and updating all process documents related to change management, incident management, standard roles definition, standard operating procedures etc.
  • Relationship management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal TD partners and ensure business priorities requirements are clearly understood and met and objectives are aligned. Partners include and are not limited to Business and Technology, Vendor management & Procurement, Contract management/Legal, Finance, Compliance, third party risk, Data governance, Enterprise protect, Cyber security, Cloud, 3PCRM, etc.
  • Process improvement: Consistently operate with a process improvement lens to create efficiencies that deliver optimal outcomes and add true value for our front-line business and technology team.
