JOB DESCRIPTION:

The Business Systems Analyst I performs systems analysis assignments with varying degrees of supervision. The Business Systems Analyst also provides complex technical business support to clients that utilize small/ midsize/enterprise level systems.
This role is to design solutions for Commercial Technology Servicing Platform initiatives supporting multiple Commercial Servicing applications.

We are looking for someone to lead the creation of end-to-end detailed solution with overall accountability for the technical design and delivery of the system Requirements Specification (SRS). Will be exposed to stretch assignments as they take on large-scale, complex and/or enterprise-wide projects.

  • Provide guidance when scoping and delivering solutions to meet business needs.
  • Work with internal teams to scope work and produce estimates to help define deliverables and timelines.
  • Effectively collaborates with Business teams & Vendor to determine system requirements, work with Developers & Testing teams to detail on requirements.
  • Triage defects collaborate with team to identify the root cause & own the solution up to production implementation.
  • Able to effectively facilitate Technical Design review sessions.
  • Provide guidance when scoping and delivering solutions to meet business needs.
  • Work effectively individually and with team members to achieve customer satisfaction and success.
  • Knowledge of Agile practices, particularly sprint planning and assessment.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

  • Undergraduate degree or Technical Certificate
  • 5+ years relevant experience
  • Advanced communications, problem-solving and decision making skills
  • Experience in moderate scale corporate systems analysis
  • Ability to work with systems users or potential users to develop system specifications and requirements, applying business systems knowledge to ensure relevant areas of research are addressed
  • Ability to translate user requirements into technical specifications with limited guidance

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Agile, cloud certifications are highly recommended.
  • 5+ years Product expertise in Commercial Lending, Servicing, SAAS or COTS.
  • 5+ years relevant Banking experience.
  • 3+ years prior Commercial Servicing experience.
  • Expert knowledge of systems and applications supported by the team including system components, functionality, interfaces, data flows, and business rules.
  • Expert knowledge of enterprise technology delivery practices and standards and related expertise including design, development, testing, and vendor interactions.
