Currently seeking a candidate to join our Premier Team in Life New Business. Previous Life New Business Case Advocate experience is preferred, along with having strong customer service and time management skills. Technical system knowledge of TPP, Vision, GIACT, Avatar, APPS, and CRL is essential.
This position will be hired on a Success Flex basis.
The hired associate must reside within 35 miles of the following location(s):
Columbus: Three Nationwide Plaza, Columbus OH, 43215
Grandview: 1000 Yard Street Grandview OH, 43215
Hybrid Work schedule: 2 days in office, 3 days remote.
It is our intention to fill this role in Columbus, Ohio, however, on occasion, applications from internal candidates that are working remotely who bring critical industry skills and relevant experience may considered.

As a Senior Case Advocate, you’ll be responsible for the management of life insurance cases from receipt of new applications through policy placement. We’ll count on you to service as a subject matter expert on the process and have an in-depth knowledge of channel-specific nuances and needs.
TYPICAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCES:
Education: Undergraduate studies preferred.
Experience: At least one year of related experience.
Knowledge, Abilities and Skills: Substantial knowledge of life insurance, including basic underwriting principles and practices; Sophisticated product knowledge; Advanced verbal and written communication skills to interact with internal and external audiences; Advanced ability to research issues and optimize resolution; Advanced decision-making skills for problem identification and correction; Demonstrated ability to successfully work independently in a fast-paced environment, maintain focus on critical deliverables, and provide extraordinary care; Discretion while handling confidential matters (e.g., medical records); Ability to integrate in a rapidly changing environment with competing priorities; Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment, effectively prioritize work, maintain focus on critical deliverables, and provide extraordinary care.
