JOB SUMMARY

Responsible procurement professional for one or more categories or segments of the Operations and Maintenance division. The Regional Category Manager is responsible for input to regional category strategy, alignment of procurement operations with their global counterparts, Pipeline and resource planning, Supplier Relationship Management (SRM), supply chain intelligence, conducting of formal procurement events (tenders, direct awards, call offs…etc.), contract negotiation and execution and operations stakeholder procurement support and guidance.
This particular Senior Regional Category Manager role will be responsible for Vessel Charters (CTVs, SOVs, Jack Up vessels, barges …etc.) during the operations and maintenance phase of all Americas offshore wind farms.

REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS

Relevant degree and experience in supply chain management/Business/ Engineering or maritime management or operations or a related field
5+ years of Procurement or Supply Chain experience in related industry
5+ years of vessel chartering or management experience is a plus
Able to analyze large amounts of complex information and produce coherent summaries, analysis, options, recommendations and conclusions
Stakeholder management
Ability of strategic thinking & planning
Job Type: Contract
Pay: Up to $102.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
